Ajax Superior DoubleButton G3 Jeweller - Wireless Hold-Up Button
Superior DoubleButton G3 Jeweller is a two-button hold-up device for Grade 3 Ajax systems in higher-risk premises. Both buttons must be pressed together to send an alarm, and a plastic divider sits between them, which makes an accidental alarm unlikely. It uses Superior Jeweller, the Grade 3 version of the Ajax radio, at up to 1,500 m in open space. Alarm confirmation can be set up from one DoubleButton or from several, and a press can also start an Ajax alarm scenario. This listing is the white version.

Common questions
How does it avoid false alarms?
Both buttons have to be pressed at the same time, and a plastic divider separates them, so a single knock should not send an alarm.
What does G3 mean?
It is certified to Security Grade 3 under EN 50131 and uses Superior Jeweller, the radio protocol Ajax uses for its Grade 3 devices.
Can it be fixed under a desk or counter?
Yes. Ajax recommends its Holder mount, sold separately, for fixing it to a surface.
How long does the battery last?
Ajax rates it at up to 5 years on the CR2032 cell that comes fitted.
Is it the same as DoubleButton Jeweller?
No. Ajax sells them as separate products. This G3 version is certified to Grade 3 and uses Superior Jeweller, with a range of up to 1,500 m against 1,300 m for DoubleButton Jeweller.
