Superior Hub G3 Jeweller is a Grade 3 wireless control panel from Ajax's Superior range, for sites that need a higher security grade and a larger system. It handles up to 250 Ajax devices and 200 users, and its radio reaches up to 3,500 m in open space. It uses the Superior Jeweller, Jeweller, Wings, TurboWings and VoRF radio protocols, and connects over Ethernet, Wi-Fi and two micro-SIM slots on 2G and 4G (LTE), all working in parallel. Photos from Ajax camera detectors come through at up to 960 × 720 pixels. Pick white or black above.

Common questions

What does G3 mean?

Grade 3. The hub is certified to Security Grade 3 under EN 50131, one grade above the Grade 2 Hub 2 panels.

Can I use ordinary Jeweller devices with it?

Yes, but the enhanced frequency hopping needs every device on Superior Jeweller. With even one regular Jeweller device, hopping is limited to 2 frequencies. Under EN 50131 a system takes the grade of its lowest-graded part, so a Grade 3 system needs Grade 3 devices throughout.

Is a backup battery included?

No. Ajax lists two options: Superior Internal Battery (16h) for up to 16 hours, or Superior Internal Battery (60h) for up to 60 hours without mains.

How does it connect to the internet?

Over Ethernet, Wi-Fi and two SIM cards on 2G and 4G (LTE), all at once. It switches between Ethernet, Wi-Fi and SIM instantly, and between SIMs within 4 minutes.

Can it send photos?

Yes, with Ajax camera detectors. Photos come in series of 1 to 5 at up to 960 × 720 pixels, and a 320 × 240 photo arrives in up to 4.5 seconds.

Where can it be fitted?

Indoors only. Ajax rates it IP30 and IK06 for -10 °C to +40 °C and humidity up to 75%.
