Ajax Superior MotionProtect Plus Fibra - Wired PIR and Microwave Detector
Superior MotionProtect Plus Fibra is a wired motion detector with two kinds of sensor. A PIR sensor picks up the body heat of someone moving, and a K-band microwave sensor then checks that alarm before it is sent. Both have to agree before an alarm goes out, which helps cut false alarms. It joins the alarm over the Fibra wired bus, which carries data and power on one cable, so it needs an Ajax hub with Fibra lines such as Superior Hub Hybrid. Choose white or black above.

Works with
Ajax hubs with Fibra lines: Superior Hub Hybrid (2G), Superior Hub Hybrid (4G), Superior Hub Hybrid 2 and Superior MegaHub. Wireless Ajax Jeweller devices can run on the same system through those hubs.
Common questions
Why does it have a microwave sensor as well?
The PIR sensor raises the alarm and the K-band microwave sensor checks it, so both have to agree before an alarm is sent. That second check helps cut false alarms.
Which hub does it need?
It is a wired Fibra device, so it needs an Ajax hub with Fibra lines: Superior Hub Hybrid (2G), Superior Hub Hybrid (4G), Superior Hub Hybrid 2 and Superior MegaHub. It cannot be paired with a wireless-only hub.
Will a dog or cat set it off?
Ajax rates it to ignore animals up to 20 kg and up to 50 cm tall, when it is fitted at 2.4 m and set up as the instructions describe.
Does it need batteries?
No. It takes its power from the Fibra line, at 5-30 V DC.
Can it go outside?
No. Ajax designs it for indoor use only (IP50, IK04), at -10 °C to +40 °C.
