Ajax TurretCam (5 Mp/2.8 mm) - PoE Turret IP Camera
TurretCam (5 Mp/2.8 mm) is a wired 5 MP turret camera: a ball-shaped camera in a round base that is easy to aim and sits neatly under eaves or on a ceiling. One network cable powers it (PoE), or a 12 V supply, and it is managed in the same Ajax apps as an Ajax alarm. The 2.8 mm lens covers about 100-110° across, the infrared reaches up to 50 m, and AI detection picks out people, vehicles and pets. It is rated IP66 and IK08 for outdoor use. Choose black or white above.

Common questions
How far can it see in the dark?
Its infrared reaches up to 50 m. Night pictures are in black and white; TurretCam HL adds white LEDs for colour lighting.
How close does someone need to be to be identified?
Ajax gives identification at up to 6.5 m, recognition at up to 13 m and detection at up to 65 m with this lens.
Is a memory card included?
No. It takes a microSD card of up to 256 GB, Class V30 or faster, bought separately. You can also record to an Ajax NVR.
How is it powered?
By PoE (802.3af or 802.3at) from a PoE switch or injector, or by a 12 V DC, 1 A supply, which is not in the box. Ajax gives an average draw of 8.5 W.
Can my Ajax alarm detectors start a recording?
Yes. A scenario can make chosen Ajax detectors trigger chosen cameras, and the recorded event goes straight to the Ajax mobile or desktop app.
