Ajax TurretCam HL (5 Mp/2.8 mm) PoE Turret IP Camera Black (126260)

Ajax TurretCam HL (5 Mp/2.8 mm) - PoE Turret IP Camera

TurretCam HL (5 Mp/2.8 mm) is a wired 5 MP turret camera with infrared and white LED lighting, each reaching up to 50 m, so it can light a drive, a yard or a car park at night. The turret shape is easy to aim and sits tidily under eaves. It runs on PoE from one network cable or on a 12 V supply, and it is managed in the same Ajax apps as an Ajax alarm. The 2.8 mm lens covers about 100-110° across, and AI detection picks out people, vehicles and pets and can watch for line crossing. It is rated IP66 and IK08 for outdoor use. This listing is the black version.

Also listed as 126260 (black). Ajax model ID TC.HL528.W.

Common questions

What is the difference between TurretCam and TurretCam HL?

The HL version adds white LEDs to the infrared, so the scene can be lit and shown in colour at night. Both light up to 50 m. The HL also records at up to 25 fps against 20 fps on the standard 5 MP TurretCam.

How close does someone need to be to be identified?

Ajax gives identification at up to 6.5 m, recognition at up to 13 m and detection at up to 65 m with the 2.8 mm lens.

Where does it store recordings?

On a microSD card in the camera (bought separately) or on an Ajax NVR.

How is it powered?

By PoE (802.3af or 802.3at), using up to 7.2 W, or by a 12 V DC, 1 A supply, which is not in the box.

Will it work with a recorder that is not Ajax?

Ajax lists it as conformant with ONVIF Profile G and S, and it supports RTSP, so it can be added to recorders that accept ONVIF cameras.
