What should I look for in a CCTV supplier?
Whoever you buy from, these checks help you get equipment that works and is supported:
- Authorised stock and UK warranty. Ask whether the supplier is authorised for the brand and whether the product carries the manufacturer's UK warranty. That affects firmware updates and who handles a fault.
- Advice before you buy. A good supplier asks what you need to see, how far away, and for how long you need to keep footage, before suggesting a camera.
- Parts that work together. Cameras, recorder, hard drive, PoE switch and cable should be compatible. Buying the whole system from one place makes that easier to check.
- Technical support after you buy. Check who you call if the app will not connect or a camera drops out.
- Clear delivery terms. Check where they deliver and how long dispatch takes. Some suppliers, including us, do not ship to Northern Ireland.
- Trade terms, if you are an installer. Check whether trade accounts are offered and which ranges are trade-only.
- A real address and phone number. A counter you can visit or a team you can call is useful when something goes wrong.

Do you install?
No, we supply equipment but don't install it. Many kits can be fitted by a competent DIYer. If you want it fitted, we can recommend a qualified trade installer, depending on your requirements and area.
