We're on the A459 Dudley Road, south of the city centre, a few minutes from the Birmingham New Road (A4123) and the ring road. There's parking on site.
Cameras and recorders run live in the showroom. You can put a 4MP turret next to an 8MP one on the same screen, see what ColorVu colour night vision actually looks like rather than reading about it, and work through the NVR menus before committing to anything. Bring a photo or a rough sketch of the property and we'll go through camera positions with you — no charge, no obligation.
Hikvision CCTV equipment we stock
A complete Hikvision CCTV system — cameras, recorder, hard drive, cable and brackets — can be put together from stock at the counter, or ordered line by line online.
Hikvision IP cameras
The current Hikvision IP camera range — G2H and G3 generations, 4MP to 16MP, in turret, bullet and dome bodies, and in white, black and grey. That covers ColorVu for full-colour recording after dark, AcuSense for people-and-vehicle classification that cuts false alerts, and Active Deterrence models with a built-in strobe and siren.
Fixed-lens models cover most domestic positions; motorised varifocal versions let you fine-tune the view after mounting, which matters on driveways and gates where the exact framing decides whether you can read a plate or a face. If you're unsure which lens, bring the measurements and we'll work it out at the counter.
Hikvision PTZ cameras
For yards, car parks and larger gardens we stock Hikvision's network PTZ range — pan-tilt-zoom domes from compact 2MP mini PTZs up to IR speed domes with long optical zoom — alongside HiLook by Hikvision PTZ speed domes at the budget end. A single PTZ on a corner can do the patrol work of several fixed cameras, and the IR models keep their reach after dark.
Hikvision NVRs and DVRs
Hikvision NVRs from 4 to 64 channels and beyond, PoE and non-PoE, including the current M-series and NXI generations and DeepinMind AI recorders. For CCTV systems running on existing coax, DVRs and HD analogue cameras.
Turbo HD — upgrading an existing coax system
If the building already has coax cable run for an older analogue system, you usually don't need to rewire. Hikvision's Turbo HD range — several hundred DS-2CE camera lines, including motorised varifocal EXIR turrets and domes — runs high-definition video over the existing cable into a Turbo HD DVR. It's the quickest upgrade path for older houses and commercial units around Wolverhampton where chasing new cable through the fabric isn't worth it: swap the cameras, swap the recorder, keep the wiring.
Video door entry
Hikvision DS-KIS video intercom kits — two-wire kits that reuse existing bell wiring, and IP/PoE villa kits pairing an outdoor door station with a 7-inch indoor monitor. Everything else the job needs
Brackets, junction boxes, PoE switches, cable and surveillance hard drives — fitted and formatted before you collect, so the recorder works out of the box.
Both come from Hikvision. HiLook by Hikvision is the simpler, end-user-friendly line — sensible pre-configured choices, sold direct to anyone, and the usual answer for a straightforward home system. The core Hikvision range goes further on sensor sizes, lens options, analytics and channel counts, which is why installers and commercial jobs tend to land there. We stock both, run both in the showroom, and will tell you honestly when the cheaper line is the right answer — it often is.
Storage, power and the questions that catch people out
The three things that most often go wrong in a self-specified system are storage, PoE power and recording resolution. We size the hard drive to your channel count, resolution and how many days of footage you want to keep, and fit and format it before you collect. On power, cameras need either 802.3af or 802.3at PoE — mixing that up is the most common reason a camera won't start. And a recorder's channel count isn't the same as its PoE port count or its maximum recording resolution, so we check the recorder can actually record what the cameras you've picked will send it. Ask at the counter or send your list over before you buy — the check takes minutes and is free.
Trade accounts and trade pricing
Installers, electricians and regular buyers can apply for a trade account for trade pricing. You don't need to be NSI or SSAIB approved — it's asked on the form, but it isn't a requirement.

Collection, delivery and areas we cover
Collection is usually same-day from stock. Call 01902 902251 before setting off and we'll confirm availability and have it ready at the counter.
The counter is within half an hour's drive of Bilston, Wednesfield, Willenhall, Walsall, Dudley, West Bromwich, Wednesbury and Tipton, and reachable from Stourbridge, Cannock and Birmingham — see our Hikvision West Midlands page for the wider area.
Everywhere else is covered by delivery. Orders are delivered within 1–2 working days to any address in England, Scotland and Wales; if we can't meet that we'll contact you to arrange something. We deliver within the UK only.
