CCTV Installation in Wolverhampton: Approved Installers & Free System Advice

Looking for CCTV installation in Wolverhampton? Zenith Security Co. is Wolverhampton's CCTV trade counter and live showroom on Dudley Road. We supply the equipment that local installers fit every day, so we work a little differently from a typical installation company: we help you choose and see the right system first, then recommend a qualified local trade installer to suit your requirements. You know exactly what you are getting, and how it will work, before you commit to anything.

Talk to us before you get quotes. Call 01902 902251, email sales@zenithsecurityco.co.uk, or visit the showroom at Unit 3, Park View Centre, 243 Dudley Road, Wolverhampton WV2 3JU. Open Monday to Friday 9:00am–4:30pm and Saturday 10:00am–4:00pm.

How it works

  1. 1. Tell us about the propertyHome, shop, warehouse, school or site: tell us what you need to see, day and night, and where. Bring photos or a rough plan if you have them.
  2. 2. See it working firstWe go through the cameras, recorder and phone app with you in our live showroom, so you can compare picture quality, night vision and smart alerts before you spend anything.
  3. 3. We recommend a qualified installerWe do not install ourselves. Depending on your requirements, we recommend a qualified, approved trade installer who covers your part of Wolverhampton and fits the brands we supply. They survey, quote for the installation and fit the system.
  4. 4. Support after it is fittedAs an authorised Hikvision partner we back the equipment with UK warranty and technical support, for you and for your installer.

Why start with the supplier and not just an installer?

  • Independent advice on the equipment. We stock Hikvision, HiLook and other leading brands side by side, so the recommendation is based on your property and budget, not on what happens to be in the van.
  • No surprises. You see the actual cameras, recorder and app before purchase, and you know the model numbers you are paying for.
  • Genuine UK stock. Equipment comes from an authorised partner with manufacturer warranty, which matters for firmware updates and support later.
  • Warranty from the source. Online directories and lead sites can introduce you to a tradesperson, but they do not supply or stand behind the equipment. We do. Because the cameras and recorder come from us, any warranty claim or technical question comes straight back to the people who supplied them, whoever fitted the system.
  • Installers who know the kit. The installers we recommend buy from our trade counter and fit these systems week in, week out.
  • Competitive trade and retail prices, with same-day collection from Wolverhampton or delivery anywhere in the UK.

Home CCTV installation in Wolverhampton

Most homes are well covered by a 4-camera system watching the front door, drive, side access and rear garden. We will help you choose between turret and bullet cameras, decide whether you want colour night vision (such as Hikvision ColorVu) and size the hard drive for the number of days you want to keep. Browse complete CCTV kits or ask us to build a list for your house. If you would rather fit it yourself, that is fine too: ranges such as HiLook are well suited to end users, and we will talk you through the cabling and setup.

Commercial CCTV installation in Wolverhampton

For shops, offices, warehouses, schools, landlords and construction sites we help specify IP camera systems with the right resolution, lens and analytics for each position, along with recorders, storage, PoE switches and the network behind them. We also supply intruder alarms and access control and door entry, so one installer can fit a joined-up system from a single supplier.

Frequently asked questions

Do you install CCTV yourselves?

No. We are a specialist supplier with a trade counter and live showroom. We advise on and supply the equipment, then recommend an approved local trade installer to fit it. You get independent advice on the products and a professional installation.

How much does CCTV installation cost in Wolverhampton?

There are two parts to the cost: the equipment and the installer's labour. Equipment prices are shown on our website, so you can see exactly what the cameras, recorder and hard drive cost. Labour depends on the number of cameras, how long and how awkward the cable runs are, and the type of building. The installer will confirm their price after a survey, before any work starts.

Can I see the cameras working before I buy?

Yes. That is what the showroom is for. We will go through the live picture, night vision, playback and the mobile app with you so you know how the system works before you commit.

Do I need permission to install CCTV at my house?

You do not normally need planning permission for home CCTV, although listed buildings and some conservation areas can have restrictions. If your cameras capture anything beyond your own boundary, such as a neighbour's property or the public pavement, UK data protection law applies to you: you should put up a sign, only keep footage for as long as you need it, and be prepared to respond to requests from people who have been recorded. The Information Commissioner's Office publishes guidance for domestic CCTV users, and we can help you position cameras to keep things simple.

Who handles the warranty if something goes wrong?

We do. The equipment is supplied by us as an authorised partner, so warranty and technical support come direct from the source rather than through a third party. Your installer looks after the workmanship; we look after the products.

Which brands do you recommend?

It depends on the job. We are an authorised Hikvision partner in Wolverhampton and stock Hikvision and HiLook alongside other leading brands. We will recommend what suits your property, budget and the features you actually need.

Can I buy the equipment and fit it myself?

Yes, you can buy direct from us. What we recommend depends on the product and on whether you are an end user or a trade professional. We stock plenty of brands to suit both: HiLook, for example, caters for end users fitting their own system as well as for trade professionals, while some ranges, such as Hikvision, are trade products supplied to installers and trade account holders. Tell us who is fitting it and we will point you to the right range, put together a complete kit, explain the cabling and help you get the app working. If you change your mind, we can still recommend an installer.

Do you only cover Wolverhampton?

Our showroom and trade counter are in Wolverhampton, and we help customers across the West Midlands and the wider Midlands. We deliver equipment anywhere in the UK and give telephone and email support wherever you are.
