The Dahua DH-IPC-HDW1839TP-A-IL-S6 (listed by Dahua as the IPC-HDW1839T-A-IL) is an 8MP (4K) fixed-lens eyeball camera from Dahua's Entry Series. Smart dual light keeps the IR on at night and switches to warm light when a person is detected, so key events are recorded in full colour while light pollution stays low. Human detection filters out alarms from non-human movement, and a built-in microphone records audio.

Who is it for?

The 2.8mm lens gives a wide 110° view for entrances, gardens, driveways and shop floors. Choose grey or black to match darker fascias, render or cladding.

What you will need
- A PoE switch or PoE NVR port (802.3af), or a 12V DC power supply
- An NVR that records 8MP/4K; the camera has no SD card slot, so recording is on the NVR
- Cat5e or Cat6 cable, up to 100m per run
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the colours?
Only the housing colour. White, grey and black versions share the same 8MP sensor, 2.8mm lens, smart dual light and microphone. Select your colour from the options at the top of this page.
Does it record in colour at night?
Yes. The IR is used by default, and the warm light switches on for full-colour video when a person enters the scene.
Does it have an SD card slot?
No. Dahua lists FTP as the camera's storage option, so pair it with an NVR for recording.
Will it work with a non-Dahua NVR?
Yes. It supports ONVIF Profile S and T, although human detection search works best with a Dahua recorder.
