The Dahua DH-IPC-HFW5559E1P-ZHE-IL-27135 (listed by Dahua as the IPC-HFW5559E1-ZHE-IL) is a 5MP bullet camera from Dahua's WizMind 5 Series. It uses Dahua's Xinghan large-scale vision models for longer, more accurate detection, and a motorised 2.7–13.5mm lens that you zoom and focus remotely. Smart dual light gives IR and warm light up to 60m, and the ZHE version includes a heater for cold sites.
Who is it for?
This is a professional camera for commercial and industrial sites: yards, car parks, warehouses, retail and perimeters. Perimeter protection classifies humans, vehicles and animals with stay, loitering, people-gathering and parking detection, and the camera also offers face detection, people counting and queue management, heat maps, video metadata and smart object detection.

What you will need
- A PoE+ (802.3at) switch or NVR port, or a 12V DC power supply
- An NVR to record and play back, ideally a Dahua WizMind NVR to use face, metadata and people counting search
- Cat5e or Cat6 cable, up to 100m per run (longer with ePoE on a compatible Dahua switch or NVR)
Frequently asked questions
Does it need PoE+?
Dahua specifies PoE+ (802.3at) for this model, as it can draw up to 16.1W with IR, WDR, intelligence and light deterrence on. It can also run from 12V DC or ePoE.
Can I zoom remotely?
Yes. The 2.7–13.5mm lens is motorised, so zoom and focus are set from the NVR, web interface or software.
Does it record in colour at night?
Yes. Smart dual light switches from IR to warm light when a target is detected, for colour video up to 60m.
Does it detect animals?
Yes. Perimeter protection classifies humans, vehicles and animals, and AcuPick can search recordings for people, animals and vehicles.
