The Dahua DH-IPC-HDW2849TMP-S-T-PV (listed by Dahua UK as the IPC-HDW2849TM-S-T-PV) is an 8MP (4K) fixed-lens eyeball camera from Dahua's WizSense 2 Series, in the TiOC Lite range. A built-in microphone and speaker give you two-way talk, so you can listen in and speak to a visitor or an intruder through the camera from the app or recorder. Smart dual light gives IR or warm light up to 30m, and the camera can sound an alarm and use its warm light as a warning light for active deterrence.

Frequently asked questions
Which lens should I choose?
Choose 2.8mm for the widest view (111° horizontal), which suits most homes, entrances and small rooms. Choose 3.6mm (87°) when you need a little more detail at distance, such as down a driveway. Select your lens and colour from the options at the top of this page.
What is the difference between this and the DH-IPC-HDW2849TMP-S-PV?
The -S-T-PV adds two-way talk: it has a built-in microphone and speaker, so you can hold a conversation through the camera. The DH-IPC-HDW2849TMP-S-PV has the same 8MP sensor and smart dual light.
Can I speak through the camera from my phone?
Yes. Two-way talk works through Dahua's DMSS mobile app and compatible Dahua recorders and software.
Does it record in colour at night?
Yes. Smart dual light lets you use IR for discreet black-and-white night video, or warm light for full-colour video at night, up to 30m.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. Recording is local to your NVR or the camera's micro SD card, and the Dahua app is free.
