Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the white and black versions?
Only the housing colour. Both have the same 5MP sensor, 2.8mm lens, IR, microphone and IP67/IK10 rating. Select your colour from the options at the top of this page.
Will it work with a non-Dahua NVR?
Yes. It supports ONVIF Profile S, G and T, so it can be added to most third-party NVRs and VMS platforms, although the AI search features work best with a Dahua AI NVR.
Does it record sound?
Yes. It has a built-in microphone, and an audio input and output if you want to add an external microphone or speaker.
Can it be mounted where people can reach it?
Yes. The IK10 rating means the housing withstands heavy impacts, and IP67 protects it from dust and rain.
