What this camera is for

DSM stands for driver state monitoring. This is an in-cab camera pointed at the driver rather than at the road, so it is fitted alongside a road-facing camera rather than instead of one. The 6 mm lens gives a narrow 60° horizontal field of view suited to framing the driver's position, and the infrared reaches 2 m — enough for the cab, not for the road.
