Hikvision DS-2CD2786G2-IZS 8MP (4K) AcuSense Varifocal Dome Network Camera
The Hikvision DS-2CD2786G2-IZS is an 8MP (4K) AcuSense varifocal dome network camera. It uses a 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS sensor and delivers a main stream of up to 3840 × 2160 at 25 fps (50 Hz). The 2.8 to 12 mm motorised varifocal lens gives a horizontal field of view of 108° at 2.8 mm and 46° at 12 mm, so it can be set wide to cover a broad area or narrowed to put the full 3840 × 2160 resolution onto a smaller part of the scene.
Hikvision lists minimum illumination of 0.003 Lux in colour (F1.4, AGC on) and 0 Lux in black and white with IR, and the IR supplement light has a range of up to 40 m. 120 dB wide dynamic range (WDR) is provided for scenes that mix bright and dark areas, and BLC, HLC and 3D DNR image enhancement are also listed. Motion detection classifies human and vehicle targets, and line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and region exiting detection support alarm triggering by specified target type (human and vehicle). Face capture and scene change detection are also listed. The camera is rated IP66 and IK10 and is powered by 802.3af PoE (Class 3, max. 12.5 W) or 12 VDC (max. 10.5 W).

What you will need
Power comes either from 802.3af PoE (Class 3, max. 12.5 W), for example from an 802.3af PoE switch or a network video recorder (NVR) with 802.3af PoE ports, or from a 12 VDC supply (max. 10.5 W) on the two-core terminal block. For recording, a microSD card of up to 256 GB can be fitted in the camera; if recording to an NVR fitted with a hard drive, check that the recorder accepts 8MP (3840 × 2160) cameras before ordering.
