What the IPC318SB-ADF28K-I0 is for

The 2.8 mm lens gives a 101.1° horizontal, 55.3° vertical and 111.1° diagonal field of view. Uniview's DORI figures are 63.0 m to detect, 25.2 m to observe, 12.6 m to recognise and 6.3 m to identify, which helps when deciding how far from the target to mount it.

At night it uses 850 nm infrared out to 30 m, switched Auto or Manual, with Smart IR listed. The datasheet gives a colour minimum illumination of 0.002 lux and 0 lux with IR. The 8MP main stream (3840 × 2160) runs at up to 20 fps, and the housing is rated IP67 and IK10.

What you will need

Power the camera from a PoE (IEEE 802.3af) port on a PoE switch or an NVR with built-in PoE ports, or from a 12 V DC supply (±25%, Ø5.5 mm plug). Maximum consumption is 6.0 W. You also need an NVR that can record 8MP streams, and network cable. Add a MicroSD card (up to 512 GB) for on-camera recording.
