The Uniview NVR302-16B-P16-IQ records up to 16 IP cameras and powers PoE cameras through its own 16 PoE ports, so they need no separate PoE switch. It has two SATA bays, each taking a drive of up to 24 TB.

What the NVR302-16B-P16-IQ is for

This NVR suits a 16-camera IP system where the cameras can be cabled straight back to the recorder. Each of the 16 PoE ports supplies up to 30 W, with a maximum of 240 W across all ports, and it supports IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at cameras.

Incoming bandwidth is 160 Mbps and outgoing bandwidth is 128 Mbps, so match your cameras' combined bitrate to those limits. It decodes Ultra 265, H.265 and H.264 and records at resolutions up to 12 MP.

With smart functions off it can decode 10 x 1080P at 30 frames per second; with smart on this is 8 x 1080P at 30. Either way it decodes 4 x 4MP at 30 frames per second.

Add surveillance hard drives, see surveillance hard drives; the recorder has two SATA bays and takes up to 24 TB per drive. Connect IP cameras with network cable to the PoE ports. The recorder runs from an AC 100~240V supply. Add up your cameras' PoE draw so the total stays within 240 W.
