The Uniview NVR501-04B-P4-IQ records up to four IP cameras and powers PoE cameras through four built-in PoE ports, so they need no separate PoE switch. It has a single SATA bay taking a drive of up to 24 TB.

What the NVR501-04B-P4-IQ is for

This 1U recorder suits a four-camera IP system cabled directly to it. Each PoE port supplies up to 30 W, with a maximum of 50 W across all four ports, supporting IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at.

Incoming and outgoing bandwidth are both 80 Mbps. It decodes Ultra 265, H.265 and H.264 and records at resolutions up to 16 MP.

Its 50 W total is the limit to plan around, so add up the draw of your cameras. For decoding it handles 4 x 4K at 30 frames per second with smart functions off and 4 x 4MP at 30 with them on.
