NVR504-16B — 16-Channel 4-Bay Network Video Recorder
The Uniview NVR504-16B is a network video recorder that takes up to 16 IP camera channels and records them to as many as four SATA hard drives. It has HDMI and VGA outputs and a 12 V DC input.
What the NVR504-16B is for
The NVR504-16B suits an IP camera system of up to 16 channels where the cameras are powered separately, for example from a PoE switch, because the specification lists no PoE ports. Recording resolutions run from CIF up to 16 MP, and the incoming bandwidth is 320 Mbps, so match your cameras' combined bitrate to that figure.
For viewing, it outputs 4K (3840 x 2160) at 30 Hz over HDMI and 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz over VGA, and live view can be split into 1, 4, 6, 8, 9 or 16 windows. It can receive smart events from compatible cameras, including face detection and vehicle detection (LPR), and supports RAID 1 and 5 across its four drive bays.

What you will need
Add surveillance hard drives: the recorder has 4 SATA bays and takes up to 24 TB per drive, and drives are not listed as included. See surveillance hard drives. It lists no PoE ports, so IP cameras need a PoE switch or their own power, and it runs from a DC 12 V/5 A supply. Cabling is standard network cable to the switch or cameras.

Does the Uniview NVR504-16B have PoE ports?
