XVR301-08Q4 — 8-Channel Digital Video Recorder with 4 IP Channels
The XVR301-08Q4 is a Uniview XVR with eight BNC inputs for AHD, TVI, CVI and CVBS cameras, plus four IP channels in addition. It has a single SATA bay and outputs to HDMI up to 4K at 30 Hz and VGA.
What the XVR301-08Q4 is for
The XVR301-08Q4 suits a mid-sized system built on coaxial analogue cameras with room for a few IP cameras. Uniview lists a maximum of 12 IP channels in total, with 40 Mbps incoming bandwidth (up to 56 Mbps after all analogue channels are converted) and 64 Mbps outgoing.
Live view can show 1, 4, 6, 8, 9 or 16 windows, and playback can show 1, 4, 9 or 16. Smart functions are limited by channel: 1 channel of face detection, 4 of intrusion-type detection (SIP) and 8 of ultra motion detection. No PoE ports are listed.

What you will need
Add a surveillance hard drive: there is one SATA interface, drives up to 16 TB are supported and none is supplied. See our surveillance hard drives. The recorder runs from a DC 12 V/2 A supply. Cameras need their own power, so choose HD analogue cameras with BNC connections and check the resolution against the recorder's listed input types. You will also need a monitor with HDMI or VGA.
