The Uniview XVR301-16Q4 is a 16-channel XVR with 16 BNC analogue inputs, 8 IP channels in addition, a gigabit network port and one SATA bay. A surveillance hard drive is not included.
XVR301-16Q4 — 16-Channel Digital Video Recorder with 8 IP Channels
The XVR301-16Q4 is a Uniview XVR with sixteen BNC inputs for AHD, TVI, CVI and CVBS cameras, plus eight IP channels in addition. It lists a 10/100/1000 network port, one USB 2.0 port and one USB 3.0 port.
What the XVR301-16Q4 is for
The XVR301-16Q4 suits larger coaxial analogue systems that may also add some IP cameras. Uniview lists a maximum of 24 IP channels in total, with 80 Mbps incoming bandwidth (up to 112 Mbps after all analogue channels are converted) and 160 Mbps outgoing.
Live view offers up to 25 windows (1, 4, 6, 8, 9, 16 or 25), and Uniview lists 32 channels of concurrent playback, 16 of them locally. Smart functions are limited by channel: 2 channels of face detection, 4 of intrusion-type detection (SIP) and 16 of ultra motion detection. It has a fan for cooling and no PoE ports.

What you will need
Add a surveillance hard drive: there is one SATA interface, drives up to 16 TB are supported and none is supplied. See our surveillance hard drives. The recorder runs from a DC 12 V/3 A supply. Cameras need their own power, so choose HD analogue cameras with BNC connections. Use network cable for the gigabit port and any IP cameras, and a monitor with HDMI or VGA.
