The XVR302-16Q4 is a Uniview XVR with sixteen BNC inputs for AHD, TVI, CVI and CVBS cameras, eight IP channels in addition, and two SATA interfaces for recording storage. It has a gigabit network port and HDMI output up to 4K at 30 Hz.
What the XVR302-16Q4 is for
The XVR302-16Q4 suits larger coaxial analogue systems that want two drives for recording. Each of its two SATA bays takes a drive up to 16 TB. Uniview notes that the maximum capacity varies with environment temperature and hard disk size, and that the environment temperature for use should not exceed 40°C.
Uniview lists a maximum of 24 IP channels in total, with 80 Mbps incoming and 160 Mbps outgoing bandwidth. Live view goes up to 25 windows. Smart functions are limited by channel: 2 channels of face detection, 4 of intrusion-type detection (SIP) and 16 of ultra motion detection. No PoE ports are listed.

What you will need
Add surveillance hard drives: there are two SATA interfaces and none is supplied. See our surveillance hard drives. The recorder runs from a DC 12 V/3.3 A supply. Cameras need their own power, so choose HD analogue cameras with BNC connections and check the resolution against the recorder's listed input types. You will also need a monitor with HDMI or VGA, and network cable for the network port.
