The Dahua DH-HAC-HDW1509TP-IL-A-0280B-S2-G is a 5MP HDCVI turret camera with a 2.8mm fixed lens and Dahua's Smart Dual Illuminator, combining built-in infrared and white LED lighting for full colour footage after dark or standard IR night vision, selectable across three illumination modes. Who is HDCVI for?
HDCVI sends HD video over standard coax — ideal for upgrading an existing coax-cabled analogue system without rewiring, and for very long cable runs where the 100m IP limit is a problem.

Frequently asked questions
Which recorders will this camera work with?
This HDCVI camera needs a Dahua XVR or Penta-brid recorder to record HD video over coax. Penta-brid recorders will also accept IP, TVI, AHD and standard analogue cameras on the same system.
Can I mix this camera with my existing analogue cameras?
Yes. HDCVI cameras run on the same coax cabling as standard analogue CCTV, so you can add this camera to an existing coax-cabled system alongside older analogue cameras, provided the recorder supports HDCVI inputs.
How far can the cable run?
HDCVI video can run much further over coax than the 100m limit typical of IP cameras, making it a practical choice for long cable runs where re-cabling with Cat5e/6 is not an option.
Does this camera record audio?
Yes, it has a built-in microphone, so audio is captured alongside the video where the recorder and channel are configured to support it.
