Common questions
What does HDCVI mean?
HDCVI is Dahua's way of sending HD video over standard coax cable, so an analogue system can be upgraded without rewiring. See our guide to Dahua HDCVI cameras.
What is PoC?
Power over Coax: a PoC-capable Dahua XVR powers the camera through the same coax cable that carries the video (CVI mode only).
Can I zoom the lens after installation?
Yes: the 2.7-12 mm lens is motorised, so the view is adjusted remotely rather than by hand.
