The HiLook by Hikvision NS-0109P-60(B) is an 8-port Fast Ethernet unmanaged PoE switch built for small IP CCTV and network installs. It powers and connects up to eight 802.3af/at devices — such as IP cameras and access points — over a single cable each, with a generous 60W power budget, built-in surge protection and an extended-range mode reaching up to 250 metres. Fanless, metal-cased and truly plug-and-play, it needs no configuration.

Who is the NS-0109P-60(B) for?

An 8-port PoE switch with a 60W budget and 802.3af/at ports — the standard way to add a group of cameras to an NVR that has run out of PoE ports, or to serve a cluster of cameras at the far end of a site over a single cable. Eight standard HiLook cameras at 5–7W each fit inside 60W; extended mode reaches 250m at reduced speed. Fast Ethernet ports are plenty for cameras up to 4MP. For 4K cameras or a Gigabit uplink to a busy recorder, the NS-0310P-60 adds two Gigabit uplinks, and the NS-0510P-58 is Gigabit throughout. For 16 or 24 cameras, the NS-0318P-130(C) and NS-0326P-230(C).

What you’ll need with it

• A mains socket and Cat5e/Cat6 cable from the uplink back to the NVR or router.
• Add the cameras to the NVR as network cameras.

Frequently asked questions

Will 60W run eight cameras?

Eight standard turrets, bullets or domes, yes. Mixing in PTZs or panoramics needs the budget checked.

Can I use it instead of a PoE NVR?

Yes — pair it with a non-PoE NVR or one whose ports are full; cameras are added to the NVR over the network.

Does it need configuring?

No — unmanaged, plug and play.
