Who is the NS-0310P-60 for?
An 8-port Fast Ethernet PoE switch with two Gigabit uplinks and a 60W budget. The Gigabit uplinks are the point: eight cameras' streams are combined onto one link back to the NVR, and on a system with 4K or several 5MP cameras a Fast Ethernet uplink becomes the bottleneck — this switch removes it while keeping the low-cost Fast Ethernet camera ports that CCTV actually needs. Extended mode reaches 250m at reduced speed. For 4MP-and-below cameras where the uplink isn’t a concern, the NS-0109P-60(B) costs less; for Gigabit on every port, the NS-0510P-58.
