Who is the NS-0510P-58 for?
An 8-port Gigabit PoE switch with a Gigabit uplink and an SFP fibre uplink, 58W budget. It is the all-Gigabit choice for a system that mixes 4K or 12MP cameras with ordinary ones, or that shares a network with office equipment; and the SFP port lets you run fibre back to the recorder for distances beyond 100m or between buildings. 58W runs eight standard HiLook cameras. For a higher budget on the same layout — PTZs, panoramics, cameras with heaters — the NS-0510P-80(B); for Fast Ethernet camera ports at a lower price, the NS-0310P-60.
What you’ll need with it
