The Hikvision iDS-7732NXI-M4/16P/X is a 32-channel DeepinMind network video recorder with sixteen built-in PoE ports, two AI engines, four SATA bays and 8K output.

The bandwidth here is better than its 16-channel siblings

320 Mbps incoming and 400 Mbps outgoing — and unusually for this range, the outgoing figure is the higher of the two. That matters on a large site: it is the outgoing number that limits you when several people review footage remotely while thirty-two cameras keep recording. Several recorders in this catalogue have the opposite arrangement, and it catches people out.

The PoE covers half the channels

Thirty-two channels, sixteen PoE ports at 200 W. Cameras 1 to 16 plug straight into the recorder; channels 17 to 32 need a switch. Fine for a phased installation, but budget for switches if all thirty-two need powering centrally.

Be realistic about whether you need DeepinMind

Most sites do not. If you want fewer false alarms and quick searching, the DS-7732NXI-I4/16P/S or a VPro model does that for a fraction of the price. DeepinMind earns its cost where watch-list face matching or structured search across millions of captures is an operational requirement — and where somebody will actually administer the libraries.

What you'll need with it

• Cameras that suit the analytics. Face recognition depends on camera position, angle and pixel density on the face far more than on megapixels. Worth planning properly — talk to us before ordering.
• A PoE switch for channels 17–32 if you are running all thirty-two.

Can I power all 32 cameras from it?

No — sixteen PoE ports at 200 W. Cameras 17 to 32 need a switch.

Is DeepinMind worth it over VPro?

Only if you need watch-list face matching, structured search across large volumes, or analytics on many channels at once.

Does it come with hard drives?

No. Four 3.5-inch SATA drives up to 16 TB each, supplied separately.
