Works with
Ajax hubs with Fibra lines, such as Superior Hub Hybrid (2G), Superior Hub Hybrid (4G), Superior Hub Hybrid 2 and Superior MegaHub. It does not connect to wireless-only hubs such as Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller. It reads Ajax Tag key fobs and Pass cards (sold separately).
Common questions
Does the screen stay on all the time?
Only with an external power supply. Ajax says the keypad must be connected to an external supply to keep the screen always on; otherwise it wakes as someone approaches, and the distance can be set in the app.
Will it work with Hub 2?
No. Hub 2 is a wireless hub with no Fibra lines. This keypad needs a hub with Fibra lines, such as Superior Hub Hybrid 2.
Can it control automation devices?
Yes. A separate tab holds up to 6 buttons, and each one can control one Ajax automation device or a group of them.
What happens if the power fails?
Two rechargeable LTO AA batteries, supplied fitted, act as backup.
Can it be fitted outside?
No. Ajax rates it for indoor use only (IP30, IK06). For an outdoor wired keypad, see Superior KeyPad Outdoor Fibra.
Is there any difference between 143607 and 143608?
Only the colour: 143607 is black and 143608 is white.
