Ajax Superior LineSplit Fibra - Fibra Line Splitter Module
Superior LineSplit Fibra turns one wired Fibra line from an Ajax hub into four separate lines. It can be added at any point on an existing line, so rather than running every cable back to the hub you can branch out from a central spot, such as a riser or a loft, to different rooms or floors. The lines use standard 4-core cable, and Ajax gives a maximum cable length of 2,000 m. The board is part of the Ajax Superior range, is certified to Security Grade 3, and is designed to sit inside an Ajax Case enclosure (sold separately), which also provides the tamper switch.
Also listed as 143609. Ajax model ID LS.Y.F.

Common questions
Why split a Fibra line?
It lets you branch out to several rooms or floors from one point on the line, instead of running a separate cable back to the hub for each area.
How many lines does it give me?
One Fibra line in and four lines out.
Does it protect the line from sabotage?
It reports tampering with its enclosure and loss of connection. For protection against short circuits, stun guns and mains voltage on the cable, Ajax makes Superior LineProtect Fibra.
Does it need an enclosure?
It is a bare board for indoor use. Ajax recommends fitting it in an Ajax Case, sold separately in several sizes, which also gives the tamper alarm.
Is it suitable for graded systems?
Yes. Ajax lists it at Security Grade 3 and environmental class II under EN 50131, certified by TREZOR TEST s.r.o.
