The Dahua DH-SDT4E425-8P-GB-APV1 (SDT4E425-8P-GB-APV1) is an 8+4MP camera from Dahua's X-Spans PTZ Series. Two fixed lenses splice a 180° 8MP overview, while a 4MP PTZ with 25x optical zoom follows and zooms in on people and vehicles found in that panorama. TiOC active deterrence adds a red and blue warning light and a sound alarm, and smart dual light switches to full colour when a target appears.

Who is it for?
This camera suits car parks, yards, building corners, forecourts and open commercial sites where one mounting point needs to watch a wide area and still zoom in for detail. Because the panoramic view keeps recording while the PTZ tracks, you do not lose the overview when the camera zooms.

Frequently asked questions
Does it use two NVR channels?
Yes. The 180° overview and the PTZ detail view are separate channels, so allow two channels on your recorder.
How does the tracking work?
The overview channel detects people and vehicles across the whole 180° scene, and the PTZ turns and zooms to follow them (WizTracking and relay tracking) while the panorama keeps recording.
What is the difference between the white and black versions?
Only the housing colour. The camera, lenses and features are the same.
Is the wall bracket included?
Yes. Dahua lists the PFB305W wall mount bracket as included.
