Who is the IPC-T2120HAP-LUF/SL for?

HiLook's highest-resolution camera: 12MP — six times the pixel count of 1080p — with ColorVu colour night vision, a built-in microphone and speaker, active-deterrence strobe and warning tone, and AcuSense person/vehicle classification. It exists for one job: covering a large area from a single point while still being able to zoom into recorded footage and read a plate or see a face at the far side. Forecourts, large yards, school playgrounds, warehouse floors, car parks. It needs a 12MP-capable NVR and appreciably more storage than a 4K camera. Frequently asked questions

Is 12MP worth it over 4K?

Only when one camera has to cover a very large area in identifiable detail. For a normal frontage or yard, 4K (8MP) is more than enough and costs less to run.

What does AcuSense add?

It classifies detections as human or vehicle and ignores everything else, so alerts and the deterrence strobe are far less likely to fire on animals, rain or moving branches.

Does it record colour at night?

Yes — ColorVu with white light; the smart hybrid mode can hold on IR until an event.
