Who is the THC-T120-MC for?

Replacing tired analogue cameras on an existing coax system, or building a low-cost 1080p DVR system where IP isn’t needed. The turret body is discreet under eaves and easy to aim. For longer range choose the 40m THC-T220-MC; for more detail the 4MP THC-T140-M; for colour at night the ColorVu THC-T129-MS. A grey version (THC-T120-MC/G) is also available.

What you’ll need with it

• An HD-TVI or 4-in-1 DVR (e.g. HiLook DVR-204Q-M1 / DVR-208Q-M1) — or set the camera to AHD/CVI for other brands.
• RG59 coax + 12V power (or pre-made shotgun cable) per camera; a 12V multi-way PSU for several cameras.

Frequently asked questions

Will it work with my old DVR?

Yes in most cases. Switch it to CVBS for a standard-definition analogue recorder, or AHD/CVI for other HD brands — the mode is set from the camera’s joystick or the DVR’s coax menu.

Is it colour at night?

No, it uses infrared so night footage is black and white. The THC-T129-MS ColorVu Lite is the colour-at-night alternative.

Can it be used outdoors?

Yes, IP66 rated for external use.
