Who is the THC-T240-M for?
Coax systems covering larger outdoor spaces where you need both reach and detail — reading a plate 25m down a drive, or identifying someone at the far end of a yard. Pair with a 4MP/5MP HD-TVI DVR to record at full resolution. For shorter ranges the THC-T140-M (20m) is the lower-cost sibling.
What you’ll need with it
- A 4MP-capable HD-TVI DVR (e.g. HiLook DVR-204Q-M1 / DVR-208Q-M1).
- RG59 coax + 12V power per camera, or a pre-made shotgun cable.
Frequently asked questions
Will it work with my existing DVR?
Yes — switch to AHD, CVI or CVBS for non-TVI recorders. A 1080p-only DVR will record it at 1080p.
Is it colour at night?
No, it uses infrared. For colour after dark choose a ColorVu Lite model such as the THC-T259-MS.
