Does it really record in colour at night?

Yes. In white-light mode the built-in LEDs illuminate the scene so the image stays in full colour up to 30m. You can also set it to IR-only (black and white, no visible light) or to the smart mode, which stays on IR and switches to white light when an event is detected.

Will the white light annoy neighbours?

It can be left in IR-only mode so nothing visible is emitted, or in smart mode so the white light only comes on when movement is detected. Aim the camera so the LEDs face into your own property.

Will it work with my existing Hikvision NVR?

Yes. HiLook is Hikvision's own brand and the cameras use the same protocol, so they plug straight into Hikvision and HiLook NVRs. They also support ONVIF for third-party recorders.
