The Dahua DH-IPC-HDW2649TM-S-IL-BLACK (also written IPC-HDW2649TM-S-IL-BLACK) is the black version of the Dahua IPC-HDW2649TM-S-IL, a 6MP 3K turret IP CCTV camera with a fixed lens, from Dahua's WizSense 2 Series. Dahua's own name for this housing is "eyeball". Smart Dual Light gives it an IR illuminator and a warm light, each up to 30m, so it can record IR night vision or switch to full-colour video when a target appears. It also has human and vehicle classification, a built-in microphone and an IP67 housing powered by PoE or 12 VDC. It works as an outdoor security camera and a night vision camera: the IP67 housing is waterproof and the IR illuminator reaches up to 30m.

Dahua lists a 6MP maximum of 3288 × 1850, which is in the 3K class, and the camera also streams 2880 × 1620 and 2688 × 1520.

What does Smart Dual Light do?

At night the IR illuminator is normally on. When a target appears in the monitoring area the warm light switches on and the camera records full-colour video and snapshots of the event; when the target leaves, the warm light goes off and IR is back on, which reduces light pollution. It supports ONVIF Profile S, G and T, so it can be added to compatible third-party recorders. Smart Search works together with a Dahua Smart NVR.
