The Uniview NSW2020-6T-POE-IN-V2 is a small unmanaged PoE switch with six 100Mbps network ports, four of which supply PoE. It offers up to 65W in total and up to 30W on a single port, and measures 169 x 132 x 40mm.

The NSW2020-6T-POE-IN-V2 suits a small installation with up to four PoE devices, such as a few IP cameras, where one compact switch can power them and link them to a recorder. Uniview describes six 100Mbps RJ45 ports including four PoE ports, so the remaining two ports carry data only and cannot power a device.

Power is shared at 65W across the PoE ports, with a 30W limit on any one port. The standards listed are IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at, in PoE mode A (1236) and mode B (4578).

It has two working modes: default mode, where all ports communicate with each other, and Extend (surveillance) mode, which gives transmission distance up to 250 metres with downlink ports communicating only with uplink ports.

What you will need

You need a mains supply (AC 100 to 240V, 50/60Hz), network cable to each device and PoE cameras whose combined draw stays within 65W.
