Hikvision DS-KV8114T-KWQE1 TalkVu 4MP Metal Villa Door Station with Keypad, Triple-Lens - Face, QR, MIFARE/DESFire, Bluetooth, WiFi 6, PoE

The Hikvision DS-KV8114T-KWQE1 is a TalkVu (Pro Series) metal door station for a house or small building entrance. Visitors press the call button and you see and speak to them on an indoor screen or on your phone with the free Hik-Connect app. You can then open the door remotely, and residents can let themselves in without a key. This version adds a keypad for PIN entry and a three-lens camera (180° centre view plus two side lenses).

Ways to open the door

• PIN code on the built-in keypad (useful for cleaners, carers or guests)
• Face recognition at 0.3 to 1.5 m
• Card or fob: MIFARE (M1) and MIFARE DESFire. DESFire is a more secure card type often used in offices
• QR code and Bluetooth from a phone
• Hik-Connect app or the indoor station, after you have answered a call

• Camera: 4 MP, 3 lenses (centre 180° wide, two side lenses 75° wide × 150° tall), 120 dB WDR for bright backgrounds, infrared up to 3 m at night
• Audio: 4 microphones and 2 speakers, with echo cancellation and noise reduction (Hikvision states more than 15 dB)
• Smart detection: people and vehicles up to 10 m, fall detection up to 5 m, and sounds such as screams or breaking glass up to 3 m
• Stores up to 10,000 users, 10,000 faces and 50,000 cards; up to 16 extra (sub) door stations
• Connections: one network cable (PoE, IEEE 802.3at) or 12 V DC 2 A; Wi-Fi 6 (2.4 GHz); Bluetooth 5.2
• Door control: 2 lock relays (max 30 V DC 1 A), 2 exit-button inputs, 2 door-contact inputs, and a 12 V 500 mA output to power a lock
• Tough: aluminium front and frame, IP66 weatherproof and IK08 impact rated (lens and card area excluded), works from −40 °C to 60 °C
• Records to a microSD (TF) card up to 128 GB; surface or flush mounting

Which KV8114 model do I need?

There are four versions. They share the same 4 MP camera, Wi-Fi 6, PoE and weatherproof metal body. The differences are:

Choose a K model if people need to get in with a PIN code. Choose a T model for the wider three-lens view, DESFire cards and double the user and card memory.

What else do I need?

• An indoor station (a screen inside), or just the Hik-Connect app on your phone. IP indoor stations we stock include DS-KH6320-WTE1 (7" touch screen), DS-KH8380-WTE1 (7" Wi-Fi, 4 relays), DS-KH9510-WTE1 (10.1" Android). Call us to check compatibility before you order.
• Power: a PoE switch port or injector that supports IEEE 802.3at, or a 12 V DC 2 A supply.
• A lock if you want the door to open electrically (for example a maglock or electric strike), wired to one of the two relays.
