DS-TCP440-DB — 4 MP Dual-Lens Parking Bay Camera, 2.8mm, PoE
The DS-TCP440-DB is a dual-lens parking bay camera. Mounted on the ceiling of a multi-storey or covered car park, it watches up to 6 bays — twice as many as the single-lens DS-TCP440-B — works out which are occupied and which are free, and reads the plate of the vehicle in each one. The result drives the indicator lamps above the bays and the counts on the entrance sign, so drivers are sent straight to a free space instead of circling.
It uses two 2.8 mm fixed lenses and a built-in deep-learning algorithm for plate recognition and space detection. Power comes from Hikvision PoE or 12–24 V DC, and there is an interface for three LED bay lamps on the unit itself.

What you'll need
Frequently asked questions
How many parking spaces does one camera cover?
Up to 6, because it has two lenses. The exact number depends on the bay width and the ceiling height, so the spacing on your drawing matters more than the headline figure. Send us the layout and we will work out how many units you need.
Is it worth paying more than the single-lens version?
Usually, yes, if the bays run either side of the camera position: one dual-lens unit and one cable run covers six bays where you would otherwise need two single-lens cameras and two runs.
Does it read number plates as well as detecting spaces?
Yes. Hikvision lists a built-in AI deep-learning algorithm supporting both ANPR and parking space detection, so you can find a car by its plate as well as count free bays.
Will it work outdoors?
It is designed for indoor and covered car parks. For an open-air car park, ask us about the outdoor parking range instead.
How is it powered?
Hikvision PoE, or 12 to 24 V DC wide-range voltage. In practice that means one Cat6 run per camera back to a PoE switch.
Is this genuine UK stock, and how fast is delivery?
Yes. Zenith Security Co. is an authorised Hikvision partner and has been operating since 2012. Orders are delivered within 1–3 working days to addresses in England, Scotland and Wales, and warranty and technical support come direct from us.
