Ajax ManualCallPoint Jeweller - Wireless Resettable Call Point
ManualCallPoint Jeweller is a battery-powered, wireless call point for an Ajax system, sold here in red or green. There is no glass to replace: lift the clear lid, press the resettable element and the system reacts, then put it back with the special key from the box. The two colours share the same housing, radio and batteries, but Ajax sets them up for different jobs. The red version is the addressable fire alarm call point, certified to EN 54-11 and EN 54-25 and set to raise a fire alarm. The green version is a programmable button that starts a scenario by default and has no EN 54 certification, so it suits alerts and automations other than the building's fire call points.
Also listed as 60815 (red) and 87639 (green). Ajax model IDs MCP.R.J (red) and MCP.G.J (green).

Works with
Ajax hubs and range extenders that use Jeweller radio, including EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller and EN54 Fire ReX Jeweller. In fire mode a press can also trigger the alarms of interconnected Ajax fire detectors on the same system. The same call point is also available in blue (71254).
Common questions
Which colour is an EN 54-11 fire alarm call point?
Only the red one (60815). Ajax lists EN 54-11 and EN 54-25 certification for ManualCallPoint (Red) Jeweller, and it is the colour to fit as a fire alarm call point. The green one (87639) carries no EN 54 marks, so use it for other alerts or to start a scenario. In the UK, a commercial fire alarm is normally designed and commissioned to BS 5839-1 by a competent installer.
How do I reset it after it has been pressed?
Use the special tool (key) in the box. The same key releases the call point from its SmartBracket, and it has a hole so it can go on a key ring.
What can a press do?
You choose the mode: raise a fire, auxiliary, panic, gas leak, water leak or malfunction alarm, or start an automation scenario. The red version is set up for fire alarms, the green one starts a scenario by default.
Will a press be sent to a monitoring station?
On the green version, not unless you set it up: Ajax switches alarm transmission to the monitoring station off by default. On the red version it can be switched off if you do not want it.
Where should it be fitted?
Ajax recommends an easy-to-reach spot at a height of 1.4 m, indoors only, at 0 °C to +50 °C.
Are batteries included?
Yes. Two CR123A batteries are fitted at the factory.
