Frequently asked questions

Does the sound record on any DVR?

Only on DVRs that support audio over coax (look for "AoC" or "/T" in the model). Otherwise the camera still works, video only.

Is the white light always on?

It comes on when the scene gets too dark for colour; brightness is adjustable in the OSD menu. There is no infrared on this model.

Will it work with my old analogue DVR?

Yes for video — switch it to CVBS/AHD/CVI to match the recorder — but you’ll only get colour night vision and audio on an HD-TVI DVR.
