ColorVu is Hikvision’s technology for recording in full colour 24 hours a day. A large-aperture F1.0 lens and a high-sensitivity sensor pull in far more light than a conventional camera, and a built-in warm white light illuminates the scene when it gets truly dark — so instead of a grainy black-and-white image you see the colour of the car, the jacket and the number plate. ColorVu 3.0 adds Smart Hybrid Light: infrared and white LEDs in the same camera, with a smart mode that stays discreet on IR and switches to colour when an event is detected.
