Who is this PIR alarm bullet kit for?
A coax (HD-TVI) kit built to deter rather than just record: a 4-in-1 DVR with 1080p bullet cameras that each have a built-in PIR detector, white-light strobe and audible alarm. When the PIR senses a person the camera flashes and sounds, so an intruder knows they’ve been spotted before they’ve done anything — the right kit for rear gardens, yards, garages, small business premises and anywhere a quiet camera hasn’t been enough. 20m infrared for normal night recording. The DVR accepts TVI, AHD, CVI and analogue on any channel and streams to the HiLookVision or Hik-Connect app. Choose the camera count for the positions you need; 4-channel kits take up to four cameras, 8-channel up to eight. For a mix of deterrent bullets outside and discreet domes inside, see the mini dome + PIR bullet kits. The camera on its own is the THC-B120-MPIRL.
What you’ll need with it
A surveillance-grade hard drive — from the options, fitted and formatted by us; 1–2TB for four cameras, 2–4TB for eight.
RG59 coax and 12V power to each camera, and a 12V multi-way PSU — the DVR does not power cameras.
A network cable from the DVR to your router for the app.
Frequently asked questions
Can I turn the siren off and keep the strobe?
Yes — light and sound are set independently in the camera menu, so you can run light-only near neighbours.
Will the PIR trigger on cats and foxes?
Far less than video motion detection — PIR responds to body heat at human scale and ignores most small animals.
Can I add my existing cameras to the DVR?
Yes — analogue, TVI, AHD and CVI auto-detect per channel.
