The standard recorder size for commercial sites.
These 16-channel Hikvision NVRs suit a commercial unit, school block, farm or retail floor.
How do I choose a 16-channel NVR?
- PoE: /16P versions power all sixteen cameras from the recorder, usually on a 200 W budget, around 12 W per camera.
- Drive bays: two bays keep a few weeks of footage from sixteen cameras. Four bays for months, or where a licence sets the period.
- Bandwidth: 160 Mbps is comfortable for 4 MP cameras. The Ultra M-series at 256 Mbps suits 8 MP and above.
- Hard drives are sold separately. See our surveillance hard drives.
Our Hikvision NVR buying guide compares AcuSense, AcuSeek and DeepinMind, explains bandwidth per camera, and covers the (C) vs (E) revision trap.
Tell us your camera models and how long you need to keep footage, and we'll confirm the right one. Call us on 01902 902251. We deliver to England, Scotland and Wales within 1–2 working days.
