The Ruijie Reyee RG-NIS2100-8GT2SFP-HP is a compact 10-port industrial switch with eight Gigabit PoE ports and two SFP uplinks. It runs from -40°C to +75°C and supports DIN rail mounting, and its power adapter is not included.
What the RG-NIS2100-8GT2SFP-HP is for
Ruijie build the RG-NIS2100-8GT2SFP-HP for harsh environments: a full aluminium casing for -40°C to +75°C operation, IP40 protection against 1 mm solid particles, 6 kV surge protection and EMC Level 4. Ruijie say the compact body fits into a waterproof outdoor box; they do not state any protection against water for the switch itself, so outdoor use needs a proper enclosure.
Of the eight RJ45 Gigabit ports, one is PoE++ (Ruijie quote 90 W PoE output for a high-power device) and seven are PoE+. The PoE budget is 228 W by default, adjustable up to a maximum of 300 W. What you will need
A power adapter is not included and must be purchased separately, so tell us the devices you plan to power and we will check a suitable one. Add up the draw of every powered device against the 228 W default budget (300 W maximum). You need network cable for the RJ45 ports and, for the two SFP uplinks, 1G SFP modules or cables. Any device drawing more than 30 W needs the PoE++ port.
