The Ruijie RG-CS88-08 is a bare 10 RU modular core switch chassis with 6 line card slots, 2 supervisor module slots, 4 power module slots and 2 fan module slots. Supervisors, line cards and power modules are ordered separately.
What the RG-CS88-08 is for
Ruijie position the CS88 for data centre, MAN, campus and combined data centre and campus scenarios. The chassis is rated at 9.6 Tbps switching capacity and 7200 Mpps forwarding, and two units can form a VSU.
Ports come from the line cards you choose: CM88-48GT-H (48 x 10/100/1000BASE-T), CM88-48SFP-H (48 x 1GE SFP), CM88-48XS-H (48 x 1GE/10GE SFP+) and CM88-8CQ-H (8 x 40GE/100GE QSFP28). The supervisor module is the CM88-CM, which also carries the switch fabric. See our network switches for the wider range.
Power modules are RG-PA600I-F (600 W) or RG-PA1600I-F, both AC input, with n+n redundancy provided the types match. Two fan modules are pre-installed with 1+1 redundancy.

What you will need
This is a chassis only. You need a CM88-CM supervisor module, the line cards for the ports you want, and at least one RG-PA600I-F or RG-PA1600I-F power module, none of which are included. SFP, SFP+ or QSFP28 line cards also need transceivers or cables. For redundancy fit identical power modules.
