What you will need

You need network cable for each device and a router or upstream switch for the gigabit uplink. Powered devices need to take PoE or PoE+ (802.3af or 802.3at); the switch supplies up to 30 W per port. If you want a fibre uplink, you need a 1G SFP module for the shared SFP slot.
