The Ruijie Reyee RG-NIS3100-8GT2SFP-HP is a Layer 2 industrial switch that Ruijie design for harsh environments. It combines eight Gigabit PoE+ ports with two Gigabit SFP ports and a 240 W PoE budget.
What the RG-NIS3100-8GT2SFP-HP is for
This model sits in Ruijie's RG-NIS3100 industrial series, which they describe as true industrial-grade and specially designed for harsh environments. It is rated for -40°C to +65°C in a sealed cabinet, up to +80°C with at least 400 LFM ventilation, with IP40 protection against 1 mm objects in dusty conditions and 8 kV ESD protection. Ruijie also position it for coastal areas where salt spray corrosion is a problem.
Eight PoE/PoE+ ports let you power up to eight devices at up to 30 W each, such as IP cameras or access points, although the 240 W budget is the overall limit. Two SFP ports provide fibre links, and ERPS, STP, RSTP and SNMP are supported. Ruijie Cloud is available for remote management, or the switch can be configured locally with SON without cloud.

What you will need
You need a separate DC power supply, as Ruijie state a power adapter is not included; the input range is 12-56 V DC. Choose one that covers the switch plus the PoE load you plan to connect. The PoE ports stop at PoE+ (30 W), so anything needing more than that needs another power source. For fibre, 1G SFP modules are required, because the two SFP ports are not SFP+. Network cable is needed for each RJ45 device.
