The Ruijie Reyee RG-ES08G-L is an 8-port gigabit unmanaged switch. It needs no configuration and adds eight 10/100/1000 Mbps wired connections to your network.

What the RG-ES08G-L is for

Ruijie positions the RG-ES08G-L for home office, cafe, retail and surveillance networks. As a Layer 2 unmanaged switch there is nothing to set up: plug in your devices and it works.

All eight RJ45 ports are 10/100/1000 Mbps, with a switching capacity of 16 Gbps and a forwarding rate of 11.90 Mpps, so every port can run at gigabit speed.

Ruijie say it can appear on Ruijie Cloud if at least one managed switch is deployed on the same network. By itself it is unmanaged, and it supplies no PoE.

What you will need

You need a router or another switch to uplink to, mains power for the switch itself, and Ethernet cable for each device. Because it has no PoE, PoE cameras or access points need a PoE injector or one of our PoE switches. To view it in Ruijie Cloud, at least one managed switch must be on the same network.

Does the RG-ES08G-L supply PoE?

No. It is a non-PoE switch, so it will not power cameras or access points. Use a PoE switch or injector for those.
