The Ruijie Reyee RG-ES108GD is an 8-port unmanaged desktop switch with eight gigabit RJ45 ports. It is plug and play, fan-free and does not supply PoE.

What the RG-ES108GD is for

Ruijie position the RG-ES108GD as a plug and play desktop switch for adding wired gigabit ports where nothing needs configuring. All eight ports are 10/100/1000BASE-T, and the switching capacity is 16 Gbps with a forwarding rate of 11.90 Mpps.

It is fan-free, so it runs quietly, and it supports 802.3az green Ethernet for energy saving. Ruijie also describe it as an unmanaged switch that can be seen in the Ruijie Cloud app, with conditions that apply. Because it is unmanaged and non-PoE, choose a PoE switch instead if you need to power cameras or access points from the switch.

What you will need

You need a power source for the switch itself and standard network cable to each device. This model has no PoE output, so any camera, access point or phone connected to it needs its own power, or use a PoE switch instead. Ruijie list an operating temperature of 0 to 40 degrees C.
