The Ruijie Reyee RG-ES124G-L is an unmanaged Layer 2 switch with 24 gigabit RJ45 ports. It is plug and play and has no PoE, so it suits wired devices that are powered separately.

What the RG-ES124G-L is for

Ruijie position the RG-ES124G-L for a secure and stable CCTV network, with flow control and port isolation, and for home office, cafe, retail and outdoor surveillance settings. All 24 ports run at 10/100/1000 Mbps, with a switching capacity of 48 Gbps and a forwarding rate of 35.7 Mpps.

It is unmanaged and plug and play, so there is nothing to configure. Ruijie state it can be seen on Ruijie Cloud, but only if at least one managed switch is deployed on the same network. It has no PoE, so IP cameras and access points need a PoE injector or their own power supply.

What you will need

You need Ethernet cable for each device and a router or upstream switch to connect to. There is no PoE, so any IP camera or access point needs a separate power source, such as a PoE injector, or a PoE switch elsewhere on the network.
